Diagnose your misses by the dot on the clubface
Using the dot drawn on the clubface as a reference, the speaker says almost every shot you don't like can be explained relative to the dot. If the ball goes right, the dot was too late; if it goes left, the dot was too early; if you top or thin it, the dot was too high; and if you hit the ground first, the dot came in too low to the ground and the low point was not far enough forward.
