Use enough loft instead of opening a low-lofted wedge
Opening the face on a 52-degree A wedge catches the middle of the ball, so squaring it up is the best option, but that loft will scream across the green and is better for a bump and run. A higher-lofted 60-degree wedge lets you set up close to normal and use the loft it already has.
