Check clubhead is not in front of the hands at the slot

At the slot (club parallel to the ground from the front view), Craig Hanson says over 80% of golfers deliver the club with the clubhead out in front of the hands. He describes this as acceptable only when you are deliberately trying to hit a fade or slice; otherwise he says it promotes digging, slicing, pull shots, and heel and toe shots. The value here is the checkpoint: at that position the clubhead should not be out in front of the hands.
