Reset to your number before the next shot
After a bad shot that gets her upset - her example is hitting a ball into the water - Amy Cho says her emotional level spikes toward 10, and she has to bring herself back down to her performing number of 6 before the next shot. Her ways of calming down are taking deep breaths and talking to her playing partners to feel better and forget the frustrating situation, doing whatever it takes to calm down before the next shot. She frames this as giving herself a full chance to hit a great shot.
