Stay behind the ball to reduce slice side spin
The instructor's second slice cause: if your center of gravity — which he places around your belt buckle — slides too far forward, and you're releasing it late or not releasing at all, that also creates a lot of side spin. His fix is to stay behind the ball, keeping your head behind the ball the entire time and releasing the club through impact, which he says takes a lot of spin off the ball.
