Move the ball back to sit behind your low point

With a fairway wood off the ground, copying your teed-up setup leaves the swing's low point behind the ball, so you catch it on the way up and top it. Fix it by starting from the driver ball position and moving the ball back about a club to a club-and-a-half width, which puts the low point just ahead of the ball. From there the club comes down the circle and strikes the ball then the ground, taking a divot after the ball.
