Fix rolling the club inside with a left-arm rod drill
For a player whose tendency is to roll the club inside on the backswing and hit thin shots, the instructor gives a no-ball feedback drill. Lay an alignment rod on the ground halfway between your feet and the ball, then make left-arm-only swings keeping your hands inside the rod and the club head outside it, feeling the lead shoulder push the club away. Spend a couple of minutes on this before hitting shots again.
