Raise the handle and flatten the lie for low chips
For the low chip, the instructor wants the hands a little closer to the ball and higher, with the club's lie angle nice and flat. He explains the lower the hands sit, the more the wrists want to work (which he uses deliberately to hit high bunker shots), so for a low shot you get the handle up high to quiet the wrists.
