Play a ball below your feet low and steep
For a ball below your feet, the speaker sets up low to the ground with ball position about half a ball back of normal to catch the ball first at a steeper angle. The speaker anchors slightly into the front foot — about five percent extra — and maintains that in the backswing, and does not grip down because the ball is already below the feet. The biggest thing is to stay low through impact.
