Raise the handle and stand closer to stop chip flips
The instructor diagnoses hands that drop too low at address on chips. His fix: raise the handle a bit, which lifts the heel off the ground slightly, and stand about half an inch closer to the ball. He reports this produced a cleaner strike and also helps the swing plane travel back on a straighter line.
