Feet-together drill to speed up arms and hands
A feet-together drill for golfers whose arms and hands are too slow. Put your feet close together - about a club head between them - tee the balls up, and with a seven iron swing your arms and hands so they pass your body; the ball should start left. The instructor says the faster you swing the arms and hands, the more the body responds and rotates through the shot on its own, following the arms and hands, and that this straightens out the ball flight. She frames it as a more beginner-to-intermediate drill.
