Square the clubface to target, then take your grip
The second habit is about grip sequence. If you take your grip first and then move the ball back in your stance, the clubface ends up open. Instead, after moving the ball back, the speaker squares the clubface to the target and only then takes his grip, so the handle sits in a different place that favors a draw or straight shot rather than a slice.
