Set driver distance by tilting forward with arms hanging

Getting closer to the golf ball in a powerful impact position can push the club away and produce a strike more toward the heel. To get the right distance from the ball, tilt forward, let the arms fall toward the knees, and then grip the club. The arms should hang naturally with about a club-width distance between the handle and the legs.

Why this context matters

From a lesson with Joe, who stood too tall and hit it off the neck of the club.
