Calm down after good shots too, not just bad ones
Amy Cho points out that it is not only anger that throws off your number - a strong positive emotion does too. Her example is making a hole in one: her energy jumps to 10, and even though it is a happy feeling she says she will probably have higher chances of missing the next shot if she stays up there. So she has to bring herself back down to her number of 6 before teeing off on the next hole.
