Ball back, handle forward to stop topping
For a student who topped the ball, the instructor uses a clock-face image on the ground and asks for a later strike: around one o'clock, which may need to feel like two. He moves the ball from too far forward to a more central position, pushes the handle forward, and uses a feet-together, even-steps routine to make ball position repeatable.
