Tee up on the left side to open a hole for a draw
A tee-box strategy for players who slice or want to hit a draw: don't tee up on the right side of the tee box, which the instructor says closes the hole off. Tee up as far to the left as you can — this opens the hole up, letting you aim up the right side at the trouble and draw the ball back, so the fairway plays much bigger.
