Stop chasing the zone; score when you're not in it
Rotella says you don't get into the zone intentionally; it happens maybe one-tenth of one percent of the time you play, so chasing it is a big mistake. Becoming a good golfer is about how well you play when you're NOT in the zone. All you can do is encourage the zone's possibility by having a good routine, staying in the present moment, and being very accepting.
