Keep the leading edge down and move your low point forward

To stop thinning chip shots, the instructor says the fix is to keep the club's leading edge down for longer and move the lowest point of the swing arc further forward. Doing so produces crisp, low chip shots and avoids the thin strike that happens when the leading edge is higher than it should be at contact.
