Match clubface to forearms to fix a slice

A golfer can have the clubface perfectly square to the target and still slice because the forearms are out of alignment - the trail forearm sitting higher than the lead forearm, which sends the swing circle left of target. The instructor's setup fix for slicer Bob: get the clubface square, close it to about 11 o'clock, grip it, then square the forearms to the face so forearms and club are in line. Doing this changed Bob's swing-circle direction and turned his big slice into straight shots.
