Keep your trail elbow tucked to fire the club down
A driver drill to stop the trail elbow flying out. Turn the trail arm inward so the inside faces out, then lift the club up (on a slight curve over the trail shoulder) while keeping the elbow tucked in. From there, fire the club back down to the ball while keeping the elbow in front of you, never firing it and letting the elbow pop out or the hands flick.

- Take your trail arm and turn it inwards towards your body so the inside faces outwards.
- Take the club and start to lift it up into position, maintaining your elbow inside so it does not pop out; it works on a slight curve over the trail shoulder, not straight up.
- Fire the club back down to the golf ball, keeping the elbow still in front of you, not firing it and letting it pop out.
Why this context matters
The elbow popping out is diagnosed earlier in the video as a cause of slices and weak, flicky strikes.
